Pointing Your Subdomain to External Content

A subdomain (e.g., `surveys.yourdomain.com`) allows you to use professional, branded links for specific parts of your site.


Prerequisite

Your domain must be purchased through or transferred to Weaveform for the following to work.


Setup Steps

The following steps show how to setup such that visitors to surveys.yourdomain.com will be brought to the content at yoursurveys.bestsurveytools.com.
  1. Log in and go to Settings > Manage Domain
  2. Click Add Record
  3. Select CNAME and enter the following:
    1. Host Name: surveys (or your preferred prefix)
    2. Value: yoursurveys.bestsurveytools.com (the site you want to point to)
  4. Click Save
Note: It can take up to 48 hours for the new subdomain to work globally due to propagation.
