Pointing Your Domain to an External Site
You can use a domain purchased from Weaveform to host a website elsewhere.
1. Before You Begin
Contact your external host and ask for their CNAME records.
Important: You must use the "pointing" method. Weaveform does not support changing Name Servers (NS). If your host requires a Name Server change, you must transfer your domain to them instead.
2. Setup Steps
- Log in to Weaveform and go to Settings > Manage Domain.
- Click Add Record.
- Select CName record type
- Enter the Host Name and Value exactly as your host instructed.
- Click Save.
Note: It can take up to
48 hours for these changes to
propagate globally.
