Managing Your A (Host) Records
An A Record connects your domain name to a specific numeric IP address.
Where to Edit Your Records
If domain was Purchased via or Transferred into Weaveform: Manage your A records in your Weaveform account.
If connected via Pointing: You must update A records at your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy or Exabytes).
How to Add or Update A Record
- Log in and go to Settings > Manage Domain
- Click Add/Edit Record.
- Select A and enter:
- Host Name: @
- Value: [Enter the IP Address]
- Click Save
[!IMPORTANT]
Propagation: It can take up to
48 hours for DNS changes to take effect worldwide.
